Mamma Jamma's Story

A Heritage of Cookery

Mamma Jamma's story starts in West Virginia where she was born and raised until the 3rd grade. Then her parents,Mops and Pops, decided to make Macon Georgia their home. Mops was known for her delicious meals with recipes that call for a dollop of sour cream, two pinches of oregano, and of course, a handful of love. Mamma Jamma grew up learning traditional ways of cooking and has passed down the love for food to her children and grandchildren.

              Mamma Jamma has always enjoyed gardening and loves jalapenos! So, with a plethora of jalapenos growing in the Florida sun, Mamma Jamma had to figure out what to do with the surplus supply she found herself with. Candied jalapenos was that answer! Absolutely delicious on just about everything, she started canning and handing them out to friends and family. 

With the love for seafood, our entire family seems to have inherited, we often have shrimp boils in lieu of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Tired of the condiment options being just ketchup and cocktail sauce, Mamma Jamma set out to use her pickled jalapenos and spicy ketchup to spice up the dinner. Playing around in the kitchen, she perfected our family recipes to create a Spicy Ketchup that our extended family and friends cannot get enough of. So, from our family to yours, enjoy!
